I Rock Cleveland fell in love with Come On Baby Grace quickly, which might explain "why Boston Spaceships records have been the source of Pollard’s most consistently satisfying, post-GBV output to date."

03.03.2010: PITCHFORK COVERS SOME "STELLAR" BS; LIKES POLLARD ALBUM:
Pitchfork has an update on the new Boston Spaceships EP, Camera Found the Ray Gun, and Robert Pollard's other projects, including the newest of new announcements, Moses on a Snail (due out June 22, 2010). And their review of We All Got Out of the Army is up too.

01.12.2010: BLURT DOES THE NUMBERS = 8/1040299 (OR 8 OUT OF 10 FOR ZERO TO 99):
Blurt reviews Zero to 99, giving the album 8 out of 10, saying, "Pollard plays against the underlying sweetness of his power pop with something uglier and less infectious - to brilliant effect."


01.03.2010: TOP 10 IN '09:
The Big Takeover puts Zero to 99's "great songwriting and inspired playing" in its top 10 albums for 2009 (with a nice mention of The Planets Are Blasted as well).


12.31.2009: ZERO TO 99 RANKS #8:
Magnet ranks Zero to 99 at number 8 in their Top 20 of 2009 countdown, saying the album "is as quirky, melodic, catchy and life-affirmingly amazing as Guided By Voices."

UK music site Flashlight's Jason A. Parkes puts both Zero to 99 and The Planets Are Blasted in his top 30 of 2009 saying, "Boston Spaceships' albums of 2009 might very well provide the best introduction to the infinite career of Bob Pollard as well as being amongst the best albums of 2009."


12.10.2009: LICKING STAMPS AND DRINKING SHITTY COFFEE:
The Firenote thinks that "overall Licking Stamps... serves its purpose and is a great snapshot of how musically sound this band really is from Bob remembering the words to every pounding drum beat that rings through your speakers - not to mention it is just plain fun!"

Neon Filler thinks Zero to 99 may be "a late contender for album of the year" saying the band is "producing some of the best music of Pollard's career."

Spectrum Culture calls Zero to 99 "a highly entertaining, intelligent achievement that ranks among the best of Pollard's extensive career." Expect more -- the 4th album is half recorded.

Chimpomatic gives Zero to 99 4 out of 5 stars and states "Pollard's barrel must be a deep one because there's no sound of the bottom being scraped."

Pitchfork expounds on Zero to 99's "catchy-as-hell cracklers peppered with form-fitting arrangements and an emphasis on Pollard's impressive pipes." They also added, "Bob Pollard's making some of the best music of his life." Yep.

The Denver Post thinks Zero to 99 is our "most-compelling release."
